About the Ministry of Labour Initiative
From October 1 – December 27, 2019, the Ministry of Labour (MOL) will conduct focused inspections in Ontario workplaces around musculoskeletal disorders and respiratory hazards specific to silica, welding fumes and diesel exhaust. Inspectors will visit workplaces in the construction, health care, industrial and mining sectors.
For the Industrial sector, MOL inspectors will focus on the following:
- Ceramics, Glass and Stone Sector - Granite kitchen countertop manufacturers
- Wood and Metal Fabrication and Industrial Services Sectors - Fabricated metal product manufacturing
- Transportation Sector - Buses, warehousing and storage

Who should attend: This webinar will focus on information relevant to workplaces in the Industrial sector, but anyone from any industry may attend.
